Giancarlo Siani Social Cooperative
The Giancarlo Siani Social Cooperative is a non-profit organization established in 2012 in Ercolano (Naples) to promote legality and fight against the Camorra. It manages assets confiscated from organized crime, transforming them into laboratories for experimenting with ideas and crops, and turning a symbol of mafia oppression into a center of hope and innovation.
The cooperative spearheads the "Radio Siani" project, a web radio focused on information, social complaint, and the culture of legality. Radio Siani, after 7 years of operation, has become a chorus of voices representing a network of realities, organizations, operators, associations, and foundations nationwide. The cooperative is also known for producing "Pizzini Vesuviani," a unique variety of tomatoes grown on the slopes of Vesuvius, and its millefiori honey.
The cooperative's approach combines sustainable agriculture and social responsibility, contributing to the revitalization of the local community and promoting social justice.
